What is a small text generator?
A small text generator outputs Unicode superscript, subscript, or small caps characters you copy into plain-text fields that ignore CSS font-size. Superscript raises most lowercase letters. Subscript lowers fourteen core Latin letters plus extension glyphs. Small caps replaces the alphabet with compact cap-style code points. Unmapped characters stay full size, which is why mixed strings look uneven in the preview columns.
The Subscripts and Superscripts blocks live in Unicode for math and chemistry, not Instagram aesthetics. The fourteen-character subscript set reflects what notation actually needed in the 1990s. Social platforms adopted the glyphs later, but the standard never expanded subscript to cover arbitrary English words.
Example: Hello 123 in superscript becomes Hᵉˡˡᵒ ¹²³ with capitals still tall. Subscript gives ₕₑₗₗₒ ₁₂₃ because each letter lowercases into the map. Small caps swaps every character to compact glyphs like ʜᴄʟʟᴎ 123 with digits unchanged.
How do you copy superscript, subscript, or small caps?
Type your phrase, compare the three preview columns, note any full-size letters that broke the shrink, then copy from the column you want. Each panel has its own Copy button. Paste into a bio or chat field and read the line on a phone before you assume the effect worked.

Which small Unicode style fits which phrase?

Where does tiny Unicode survive pasting?
Superscript and small caps paste cleanly into most UTF-8 bios because the glyphs render inline. Subscript survives the same fields but looks broken when your word uses letters outside the fourteen-character set. Preview on a phone before you paste a subscript line into a public bio.
Where does superscript actually work on Instagram?
Instagram bios accept superscript code points as inline UTF-8 when the string is mostly lowercase. iOS renders most superscript code points inline, but unmapped slots pass through as normal ASCII. Uppercase letters and lowercase q stay tall because they have no superscript mapping. That is map behavior, not an Instagram bug. If the preview already shows upright letters, expect the same mix on iOS.
